ROYER LLC

Terms of Use

These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of Bams, Craks & Clues, Bam Club and related websites, applications, puzzles and services (collectively, the “Service”), operated by Royer LLC (“Royer LLC,” “we,” “us” or “our”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Entertainment and educational use

The Service provides American Mahjong puzzles, practice activities and general strategy information for personal entertainment and educational purposes. Bams, Craks & Clues™ is an independent single-player puzzle and practice experience operated by Royer LLC. It is not affiliated with, sponsored by, endorsed by or authorized by the National Mah Jongg League, Inc. This app does not reproduce traditional four-player gameplay and is not a substitute for the official annual card, which is required for standard NMJL play. The Service does not offer gambling or cash prizes.

2. Accounts

You are responsible for using an email address you control and for activity associated with your account. You may not impersonate another person, share access fraudulently or attempt to bypass membership controls.

3. Purchases and Bam Club

Prices and benefits are shown before purchase. Payments are processed by Stripe or an applicable app store, and their terms may also apply. Unless a different policy is displayed at checkout or required by law, purchases grant only the stated personal, non-transferable access to Service features. Refunds, reversals and chargebacks may result in removal of the related access.

4. Limited license

Royer LLC grants you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for personal, noncommercial play. You may not copy, scrape, sell, sublicense, reverse engineer, interfere with, automate access to, or create a competing service from protected portions of the Service except where applicable law expressly permits it.

5. Ownership

Bams, Craks & Clues™, Bam Club, the Service’s original code, selection and arrangement, written lessons, graphics and other original materials are owned by Royer LLC or used with permission. These Terms do not transfer ownership to you. Third-party names, products and content remain the property of their respective owners.

6. Product and affiliate links

The Service may feature products or tablescapes from third parties. We may earn a commission when you purchase through a clearly disclosed paid link, at no additional cost to you. Product availability, pricing, shipping, returns and warranties are controlled by the applicable seller. A feature is not a guarantee or warranty of a product.

7. Availability and changes

We may update, suspend or discontinue features, challenges, pricing or access when reasonably necessary. We do not promise that the Service will always be uninterrupted, error-free or available on every device.

8. Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement. Mahjong recommendations are general strategy suggestions and do not guarantee a particular outcome.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Royer LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising from the Service. Royer LLC’s aggregate liability relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid to Royer LLC for the Service during the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.

10. Termination

We may restrict or terminate access for material violations of these Terms, unlawful conduct, fraud, abuse or conduct that threatens the Service or other users. Provisions concerning ownership, disclaimers and liability survive termination.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Nothing in these Terms limits non-waivable consumer rights.

12. Changes and contact

We may revise these Terms by posting an updated effective date. Questions may be submitted through the official support contact published with the Service.
